The Falls Festival is up next!

Oh my goodness.. so the Falls Festival is already here. I would love to say i'm cool, calm and collected, but i'm a little nervous. Being me though.... i have studied the time-table like i will get quizzed on it, have started writing to take lists, and remembering to make sure i pack the husband!

British India and LaVista

Hallllo!

So... December 3rd, 4th and 5th was very British India fuelled. The Thursday show was very quite, so i made the most of the free floor space to photograph British India without a crowd fight (first time in ages). I photographed British India on both nights and photographed LaVista on the second night (the Friday)

Here are some of the BI photos from the first night....

The Friday night crowd was insane compared to Thursday... I came away with many a funny shaped bruise.

And the Saturday was spent freezing my arse off up the mountain photographing the British India film clip. Despite the cold, it was quite a rad day.

Jeff Martin and the Armada

Howdy...

On Tuesday i was lucky enough to photograph a wonderful musician Jeff Martin. The gig atmosphere was amazing from the moment i walked in. The Republic Bar stage had a "changing rooms" make over done on it.. with red velvet covering the windows and funky rugs covering the entire stage floor. The show was $50pp and I was unsure with how many people would come out on a Tuesday night for that much money, but apparently Jeff Marin, with his infinite music wisdom, can pull a crowd...it was packed full!! I took all my pictures that night crammed against the side walk, standing half on a chair and half on the window sill.

Summing my night up... awesome fun :)

First blog ...

Halllo there ladies and gents.

Thought I would include a blog on my website to show recent shoots and also to let people know of up coming events.

Some things that I have coming up:

I have many a music gig to photograph, starting with Angie Hart (formally from Frente!) on November 26th ..

• Jeff Marin and the Armada on December 2nd
• British India on December 3rd and 4th
• The Basics on December 12th
• LaVista’s “Who we are” show on December 13th

-Then the next thing is Falls! Aww yeahh... I am an official Falls photographer this year and am uber chuffed.

• And early in the new year I have Soundscape Music Festival 2010.

Also i’m planning an exhibition, hopefully in January sometime... but will have more info on that a little bit later on.
